The Ruth Lilly Medical Library is the main library for all nine of the School of Medicine campuses. Through its subscriptions, the Library provides access to electronic resources, including journals, books, databases, and research guides including MS1/MS2, Clerkships, mobile apps, and more – all accessible via the Medical Library Website.

 

A librarian is assigned to each School of Medicine campus and to each department.

What can the Library and Librarians do for you?

  • Assist with or provide literature searches to support your projects or program development
  • Assist with publishing and CV-related information, including journal impact factors
  • Consult on NIH Research Compliance
  • Lead workshops and classes on a variety of topics, including advanced MEDLINE searching, Endnote. Customized sessions are also available
  • Help with securing journal articles and books, even those not owned by the Medical Library (Note: The Library pays for Interlibrary Loans, or Document Delivery, making this a free service for IU School of Medicine students and faculty.
